When the snow comes to Aydat, there are many people who take out the sleds. Aydatoises, des aydatois, or more generally people from Clermont and Puydômois wishing to go on a sledging trip on the weekend.
So here are some reminders…
Parking : Good habits for your safety
A large number of cars parked in single file ON THE ROAD and not as drivers imagine on “the side of the road”. Be careful, each road is bordered by a ditch, invisible because filled with snow, no point trying to get as close to the edge as possible, you risk putting yourself in a ditch… It is also prohibited to park on medians., on path or voice inputs… So of course this wild parking allows you to be a stone's throw from your skiing area but this poses several problems. :
- Traffic difficulty on the road and difficult or blocked access for local residents
- Dangerous situation for cars using the road but also for pedestrians (sledders) who return to their car
- Difficulty for the snow plow to clear snow from the road.
FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE, PARK RESPONSIBLY.
