Unmissable mountain bike ride organized by Summits Lakes Mountain biking which crosses both the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, but also the Chaîne des Puys (Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), as well as the Sancy Massif. Each year has its own journey, a different route which evolves from edition to edition in order to introduce or rediscover the sites of the region to as many mountain bikers as possible : The crosses, the castles, the lakes, volcanoes, the tops, the panoramas… Departure is from the Aydat Leisure Area, just above the lac.
Three courses : Discovery / Complete / expert
According to your level, choose a suitable route. Please note that mountain bikes with electric assistance are welcome.
- Discovery loop : 25 km, 400 meters of positive altitude difference, fun route accessible to families.
- Full loop : 50 km, 1100 meters of positive altitude difference, recommended route for good riders.
- Expert loop : 75 km, 2000 meters of positive altitude difference, route reserved for athletes with technical passages and portage.
You will find refreshments for participants on all routes and upon arrival.. Bring a bottle or an eco-cup to drink from the refreshments.
